Estate Agent Succeeds in Sexual Harassment and Discriminatory Reference Claim

This was a claim where I represented the employee.

The case attracted national attention probably due to the salacious nature of some of the harassment. It was reported in the Times, Telegraph and even in some papers abroad - view press clippings.

Employers can easily trip up when providing references in discrimination claims. In discrimination cases, if the tribunal finds this was an act of victimisation, substantial damages can be awarded for ‘injury to feelings’ and also lost earnings in the new role.
